- Take orders from customers for food and beverages
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
- Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff
- Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
- Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently

Founded in 2007 by business partners Jack Warner and Brandon Landry, Schlittz & Giggles became the fourth concept opened in 4 years by Warner and Landry. The concept of Schlittz & Giggles was derived to address one concern - the lack of eateries for patrons leaving the highly popular bars located just two blocks away in Downtown Baton Rouge, also owned by Jack and Brandon.
The original location opened on the icoinc corner of Florida Blvd. and Third Street in Baton Rouge, formerly occupied for many years by Mortorano's Italian Deli. Schlittz & Giggles quickly became a staple in Downtown Baton Rouge serving folks of all walks of life.
Schlittz & Giggles opened its second Baton Rouge location in 2009 with plans to soon grow many more.
